MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometer (Voyager DE-STR - Applied Biosystems)   nanoLC-Q-TOF Tandem Mass Spectrometer (QTOF - MicroMass/Waters)   nanoLC-LTQ-Orbitrap Mass Spectrometer (ThermoElectron)

This is our Matrix-Assisted Laser-Desorption Ionization Time of Flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometer (DE-STR from Applied Biosystems). This instrument can be run in linear mode or reflectron mode (negative or positive) with possibilities for Post-Source Decay (PSD) or Collision-Induced-Dissociation (CID). For routine samples the instrument is run fully automated.

This our Electrospray Tandem Mass spectrometer (Q-TOF from MicroMass). We operate the instrument using a nanoflow source, either manually using Au/Pd-coated glass capillaries or automated using a CAP-LC system. The Cap-LC is fully integrated into the Mass spectrometer, enabling automated micro-sample pickups and MS/MS on the fly.

The LTQ-Orbitrap is a new hybrid electrospray instrument with high sensitivity, high mass accuracy and speed and capable of MSn. It has a linear ion trap, coupled to an electrostatic ion trap (Orbitrap). It is operated on-line with a nanoLC system.
