  • 3 Linux  interactive workstations. Dell Precision T3500n, Quad Core Intel Xeon W3550 3.0GHz CPU, HDD SATA controller with 2 2TB HDD, 24GB RAM, NVIDIA Quadro NVS 295 Graphics Card, 24in LCD monitor. ("interactive" category)  Total 4 cores each.


  • 1 Windows interactive workstation. Dell Precision PWS T5400, Quad Core Intel Xeon E5410 2.33GHz CPU, HDD SATA controller with total of 10TB HDD storage, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA Quadro FX570 Graphics Card, 24in LCD monitor. ("interactive" category)  Total 4 cores each.


  • 32 Linux 16GB RAM remote workstations. Dell PowerEdge M600 blade server, two quad-core Intel Xeon E5420 2.5GHz CPUs, 16GB RAM, 1TB HD local storage. ("general" category) Total 8 cores each.


  • 1 64GB RAM workstation. Dell PowerEdge R710 with four quad-core Intel Xeon E5520 2.27GHz, 1TB HD, 64GB RAM (cbsulm01 in "medium gen1" category). Total 16 cores.


  • 16 128GB RAM workstations. RedBarn Server with two 6-core (12-hyperthreaded) Intel Xeon E5 2620 2 GHz CPU, 4TB SATA HD, 1TB SSD HD, 128GB RAM cbsumm01-16 in "medium gen1" category). Total 24 cores each.

  • 12 256GB RAM workstations. RedBarn Server with two 10-core (20-hyperthreaded) Intel Xeon E5 2630 2.2 GHz CPU, 8TB SATA HD, 256GB RAM (cbsumm21-32 in "medium gen2" category). Total 40 cores each.

  • 12 512GB RAM workstations.
    • 3 Red Barn Servers with four 16-core AMD Opteron 6272 2.1GHz, 13TB HD, 512GB RAM (cbsulm03-04, cbsulm07 in "large memory gen1" category). Total 64 cores each.
    • 3 Red Barn Servers with four 16-core AMD Opteron 6376 2.3GHz, 9TB SATA HD, 1TB SSD HD, 512GB RAM (cbsulm08-10 in "large memory gen1" category). Total 64 cores each.
    • 2  Red Barn Servers with four 12-core (24-hyperthreaded) Intel Xeon E7 4830 v3 2.1GHz, 12TB SATA HD (RAID10), 1TB SSD HD, 512GB RAM (cbsulm12-13 in "large memory gen2" category). Total 96 cores each.
    • 4  Red Barn Servers with four 14-core (28-hyperthreaded) Intel Xeon E7 4850 v3 14C 2.1-2.8GHz, 12TB SATA HD (RAID10), 1TB SSD HD, 512GB RAM (cbsulm14-17 in "large memory gen2" category). Total 112 cores each.

  • 2 1024GB RAM workstations.
    • 2 Red Barn Server with four 8-core (16-hyperthreaded) Intel Xeon E5 4620 v2 2.6GHz, 16TB SATA HD, 1TB SSD HD, 1024GB RAM  (cbsuem01-02 in "extra large memory" category). Total 64 cores each.

  • Storage.
    • Gluster. Five node glusterfs storage cluster with total capacity 313TB. Two nodes are Dell PowerEdge R710 with one quad-core Intel Xeon E5603 CPU, 24GB RAM and 12 disk rack enclosure (4TB disks) connected to LSI 9285-8e RAID controller configured at RAID6, three nodes are RedBarn Server with two Intel Xeon E5 2620 2.0 GHz CPU, 64GB RAM, 24 4TB RAID6 SAS disk array built-in.
    • Lustre. 12 node Lustre storage cluster with total capacity 700TB. The cluster is composed of two management servers (RedBarn Server with one  Intel Xeon E5 1620 v3 3.5GHz CPU, 64GB RAM, 1TB HDD), two metadata servers (RedBarn Server with two Intel Xeon E5 2630 V3 2.4GHz CPU, 256GB RAM, 3TB SSD in RAID10) and 8 object storage servers (5 x RedBarn Server with two Intel Xeon E5 2620 2.0 GHz CPU, 64GB RAM, 24 4TB RAID6 SAS disk array built-in, 1 x RedBarn Server with two Intel Xeon E5 2620 2.0 GHz CPU, 64GB RAM, 24 6TB RAID6 SAS disk array built-in, 2 x RedBarn Server with two Intel Xeon E5 2620 2.0 GHz CPU, 64GB RAM, 24 8TB RAID6 SAS disk array built-in).
    • Backup Gluster. Two node glusterfs storage cluster with total capacity 257TB. This storage is located off-site in Weill Hall and devoted to backups. (2 x RedBarn Server with two Intel Xeon E5 2620 2.0 GHz CPU, 64GB RAM, 24 8TB RAID6 SAS disk array built-in)

  • Login nodes. There are two login nodes available: cbsulogin RedBarn Server, two 6-core Intel Xeon E5 2620 2.0GHz, 84GB RAM, 1.5TB SATA HD ; cbsulogin2 Dell PowerEdge R520 with 1 6-core Intel Xeon E5-2420 1.90GHz, 64GB RAM, 2TB SATA HD.
