Notes:

For the new version of genemark suite, please download the software suite and key file from the website http://exon.gatech.edu/genemark/license_download.cgi. It requires you to fill out the agreement form, and download the key file (64bit) and the software file.

Download "GeneMark-ES/ET/EP" for  "LINUX 64 kernel 3.10 - 5"

After download, put both download files in your home directory, and do the following,

#copy key file to your home directory with the new file name ".gm_key"

gunzip gm_key_64.gz

cp gm_key_64 ~/.gm_key

#decompress the programs file and keep it in your home directory

tar xvfz gm_et_linux_64.tar.gz

#setup environment and run the software

export PATH=$HOME/gm_et_linux_64:$PATH

export PERL5LIB=/programs/PERL/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.22.0:/programs/PERL/lib/perl5
