Details for FALCON_unzip (hide)

Name:FALCON_unzip
Version:20160919
OS:Linux
About:For Phased Diploid Genome Assembly with PacBio reads.
Added:9/19/2016 8:43:55 PM
Updated:
Link:https://github.com/PacificBiosciences/FALCON/wiki/FALCON-FALCON-Unzip-%22For-Phased-Diploid-Genome-Assembly-with-Single-Molecule-Real-Time-Sequencing%22
Notes:

FALCON_unzip requires FALCON and SMRT Analysis, which are only installed on cbsumm02, cbsulm04, cbsulm10.

Please read FALCON and SMRT Analysis instructions on BioHPC.

FALCON: https://cbsu.tc.cornell.edu/lab/userguide.aspx?a=software&i=282#c

SMRT: https://cbsu.tc.cornell.edu/lab/userguide.aspx?a=software&i=76#c

FALCON_unzip software is added to the same directory as FALCON: /programs/FALCON-integrate/

The instruction and examples for FALCON_unzip is in its own directory:  /programs/FALCON_unzip/

There is no manual for it, but there is an example of running FALSON_unzip in: /programs/FALCON_unzip/examples/unzip.sh

Before you start, set the python enviromment (same as falcon):

. /programs/FALCON-integrate/fc_env/bin/activate

export PATH=/programs/MUMmer3.23:$PATH

You need to start SMRT Analysis to run quiver. Follow this instruction to start SMRT.
