Details for STRUCTURE (hide)

Name:STRUCTURE
Version:2.3.4
OS:Linux
About:A free software package for using multi-locus genotype data to investigate population structure. Its uses include inferring the presence of distinct populations, assigning individuals to populations, studying hybrid zones, identifying migrants and admixed individuals, and estimating population allele frequencies in situations where many individuals are migrants or admixed. It can be applied to most of the commonly-used genetic markers, including SNPS, microsatellites, RFLPs and AFLPs.

Notes:

To run without graphical front-end, prepare your input files and files mainparams and extraparams (see STRUCTURE documentation), then in the directory contating all these files type

structure >& my_run.log &

This will start the structure process to the background and any screen outout will be saved in the file my_run.log.

To run STRUCTURE through the graphical front-end, type

structure_fe
