Notes:You need to use full path to the binaries:

/programs/fs-2.0.6/bin/fs [options]

You can also add the program to your PATH:

export PATH=/programs/fs-2.0.6/bin:$PATH

and then use it directly by typing program name at the prompt.

### There is a new version of fineStructure in the fineRADstructure package. The software website is http://cichlid.gurdon.cam.ac.uk/fineRADstructure.html  . The BioHPC page is https://cbsu.tc.cornell.edu/lab/userguide.aspx?a=software&i=458#c

 

NOTE1: fine STRUCTURE is available only on machines running RedHat 7 operating system - it will not run on RedHat/CentOS 6. We are now in the process of upgrading all BioHPC Lab machines to RedHat 7.

NOTE2: Sample R scripts for the analysis of output of fineSTRUCTURE can be found in /programs/fs-2.0.6/R.
